Important information about the Hotel Seehof

Below we have put together a list of all the most important things you need to know about the 4*S Hotel Seehof. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to give us a call on +43 5374 5661 or send us an e-mail at info@seehof.com.

unfortunately, our Hotel Seehof will remain closed due to the further lockdown prescribed by the Austrian Federal Government.

We will keep you informed of the current decisions and hope for an early, healthy and joyful reunion.

Due to our annual break our hotel is closed from 11.10.2020 until 21.12.2020.
During this time our reservations team is available at the following hours:
Monday-Friday: 9:00 - 16:00h

We are looking forward to welcoming you agin from 22.12.2020.

Please let us know in advance if you suffer from any food allergies or follow a particular diet (e.g. vegan or vegetarian). Our kitchen team will be happy to help with any food-related questions you may have during your stay with us.

From 15:00h. Please let us know in case you will be arriving after 19:00.

Your room telephone can be connected to your mobile phone to work as a baby intercom. Please speak to a member of staff at reception for more information.

Open daily from 8:00h until 22:00h.

Mountain bikes, city bikes and children's bikes as well as electric-powered mountain and city bikes can be hired for a small fee. Bikes are handed out at 10:00h and 14:00h. Return until 18:00h.

Two bowling alleys are available free of charge daily from 12:00h until 22:00h. Children up to the age of 12 years must be accompanied by an adult.

> We have taken all measures necessary according to Austrian authority. Please note that the regulations and measures may differ from other countries and that the legal requirements are subject to change!

> A mouth-nose-protection/face shield is compulsory:
                > for service staff, masseurs and cleaning staff 
                > for guests in all public places within the hotel, at the restaurant and at the buffet. 

> Hygene and distance regulations:
                > We ask our guests to apply to the general hygene and distance regulations and appeal to the self-responsibility.
                > In the entry areas markings on the floor pointing out to keep the safety distance. In the entire hotel you will find signs                               reminding of the regular hygene and distance regulations. Disinfectant dispenser can be found in the main entrances and                       in the restaurant.
                > There is no limit on number of people in any area. The safety distance should be kept.

> Kindly follow the instructions of our staff or those that are included in our daily morning post.

> All leisure facilities and services can be used without restrictions following the general rules.

> Spa area: except for the steam baths all saunas are open. Infusions should be avoided. The wearing of a face mask is mandatory in indoor areas such as the entry area, the sanitary facilities, changing rooms. Except for damp locations like showers and pools and using the relaxing chairs.

> Restaurant/Meals: We can offer the regular breakfast buffet. Especially at the buffet we urge our guests to follow the hygene and distance rules and to wear a face mask. In the restaurant as well as in the buffet area are ample options to disinfect the hands. Disposable gloves are offered as well. In the buffet area markings on the floor remind of the safety distance and show the direction. Due to official requirements our bar and restaurant must close at 10 pm as well as the serve of beverages.

> Reception: Receptionists and guests aare separated by a plexiglass panel. The entry cards to the rooms are disinfected before handing out to the guests. Our team at reception inform each guest upon arrival about the current measures and make an appeal on self-responsibility.

> General public: in public spaces, a minimum distance of one metre must be maintained to all people not living in the same household. The wearing of a face mask covering the nose and mouth is mandatory in the following situations: in (food) shops, on the premises of service providers and in all forms of customer contact, on public transport and in taxis, at indoor events (except when sitting in your assigned seat), in cable cars, funicular railways, coaches and in sightseeing boat, in local authority buildings, in schools outside the classroom, in pharmacies, nursing homes, hospitals and health resorts, and in places where health and care services are provided

NEW: Cancellation coverage also for COVID-19 disease despite pandemic status

Our insurance partner Europäische Reiseversicherung now also offers protection in case of Covid-19 illness. 

COVID-19 is still classified as an epidemic or pandemic (see WHO, Austrian Health Authorities). 
ERV will provide cover in the event that you as the insured person are unable to commence or have to break off the trip,

  • because you have COVID-19 symptoms,
  • because your temperature is elevated, even if a later test result is negative,
  • because you tested positive for COVID-19 without showing symptoms,
  • because a close relative (*) or a person living in the same household falls ill with COVID-19 and your urgent presence is required,
  • because a close relative (*) in the same household falls ill with COVID-19 and you have to go into quarantine, or
  • because you are unable to travel during your stay due to your illness and have to extend your stay. Here you are covered within the framework of involuntary holiday extension.

(*) Relatives are defined as spouse (or registered partner or partner living in the same household), children (step-, in-law, grandchildren, foster parents), parents (step-, in-law, grand-, foster parents), siblings and brother-in-law/sister-in-law of the insured person - in the case of a registered partner or partner living in the same household, additionally his/her children, parents and siblings.

Our service for you
We will cover 50% of the cost of your travel cover with the Europäische Reiseversicherung.
The amount will be deducted from your total hotel ​bill after your stay with us.
If you are actually unable to travel, you will receive a value voucher which will be credited to your next stay with us.

By 11:30h. Guests who check out after 11:30h will be charged for an additionall day. Thank you for your understanding.

Upon request €15 per day without food. We kindly ask guests to bear in mind that dogs are not allowed in the bedroom area above reception, the sunbathing area and the spa and pool area. Please let us know in advance if you would like to bring your dog to the restaurant. Any damage caused by dogs/pets must be paid for in full by the owner.

Please tick the respective box(es) on the extra sheet we send to you when you reserve your room if you would like to have romantic room decoration, a fruity welcome bowl, a candlelight dinner or flowers in your room. You are also welcome to communicate any other extras in advance by sending us an e-mail.

Open daily from 7:00 until 19:00.

Horseriding is available at our indoor and outdoor riding centre. Riding lessons can be booked at our reception.

Guests are welcome to bring their horses with them. We charge €30 per day to house them in our stables at the hotel.

In the entire hotel you will be able to connect to the wireless internet which can be used free of charge. 

The day after arrival guests receive this card from reception. With this card you benefit from a large number of discounts within the Kaiserwonkl region.

Weekly activity programme for children aged four years and older. During the school holidays the club is open 6 days a week from 10:00h until 16:00h & 19:00h until 21:00h. Please check for opening times outside the school holidays.

Breakfast is served from 7:30h until 10:15h,  lunch buffet from 12:30huntil 14:30h (only available to guests who have booked full board) and the five-course evening meal from 18:30h until 20:30h.

Newspapers and magazines are available free of charge at the reception. We will also be happy to get you your favourite daily newspaper for a small charge.

Free parking in our underground garage or near the hotel.

Except during our annual break.

Open daily from 13:00h to 19:00h. Please be aware that children under the age of 14 years are not allowed to use the sauna village and infrared lounge. The sauna village is a naked area and is a place for relaxation and tranquility.

Transfer between train station Kufstein – Hotel Seehof –  train station Kufstein is available for guests free of charge when arriving or departing between 10:00h and 17:00h. Please book your transfer at reception at least one day in advance.

Please be aware that the entire hotel is a non-smoking area.

The spa area is open daily.

  • Sauna village: 13:00h until 19:00h
  • Water adventure area: 10:00h until 19:00h (slides & attractions 10:00h until 12:00h & 14:00h until 18:30h)
  • Indoor pool: 7:00h until 21:00h
  • Family sauna: 14:00h until 18:30h

 

In your room you will find a spa bag with a fluffy bathrobe and towels. Get your flip flops at the reception.

Please book your spa treatment at the hotel reception or directly at the Spa reception. If you have made an appointment with our spa team but are unable to attend, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance. If you cancel on the same day or fail to attend the appointment, the treatment will be charged in full. Thank you for your understanding.

Toboggans, beach volleyball balls, Nordic walking poles and hiking poles can all be borrowed free of charge on bail from reception. Tennis rackets are availble for a € 2 fee per racket.

Our indoor tennis centre is open daily from 8:00h until 22:00h. Three courts are available for our hotel guests free of charge.

Guests who wish to be woken in the morning can set up a wake-up call on their room telephone by dialling *55 and entering the wake-up time using the 24-hour clock (e.g. “0700” for 7:00).
